As COHESION’s Strategy Manager, John plays a leading or contributing role in many areas of the business. His primary focus is to work cross-functionally to ensure that major initiatives and processes are being strategized and executed with COHESION’s collective vision in mind.
John previously worked as a management consultant at KPMG where he developed a strong expertise is strategy development and execution. He has gained a strong experience in business planning, strategy creation, operating model development, IT, change management, human capital, M&A, research, and innovation consulting. He is a former Economic Development Fellow at World Business Chicago, the city’s economic development organization, where he helped found the country’s largest hardware startup incubator, mHUB.
John holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. John founded and now serves as the President of the mHUB Venture Board, an entrepreneurship-focused non-profit board that runs one of the largest hardware startup competitions in the U.S. When he is not spending time in the city, John can also be found enjoying the outdoors in Lake Geneva, WI.

3) Is technically John Busch the sixth and can trace his roots to his great-great-great grandfather Johann, who traveled to the U.S. as a German immigrant in 1863
