In his role as director of product development and implementation, Rob serves as the bridge between the product development and customer implementation activities. He strives to ensure quality installations and to bring real-world feedback into product development.
Rob has 20+ years of experience with designing, specifying, and integrating intelligent building systems for commercial buildings. Prior to COHESION, Rob worked in the Intelligent Building Practice at Environmental Systems Design, and for the Solutions group at Teng & Associates. He has been Niagara certified since 2000 (R2 / AX / N4) and has authored Division 25 Integrated Automation specifications since CSI created the number in 2004. He brings a deep technical understanding of the networks, protocols, devices, and programming environments behind today’s modern intelligent buildings.
Rob holds a B.A. from Colgate University. He holds a CSI Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) certification. He’s a suburbanite, is married to the director of a nursery school, and is a devoted dad to two sons and two step-sons.
