Our journey started five years ago over a breakfast meeting between our CEO, Thru Shivakumar, and Raj Gupta, the Executive Chairman of ESD. Their conversation sparked the idea of a technology that could bridge the gap between tenant applications and legacy building systems. They believed that by making a building flexible, responsive, and data-driven, we could unlock opportunities for optimization and value creation. And so, six months later and a spin-off from a mechanical engineering company, Cohesion was founded.
